About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team at VEV. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our decarbonisation projects. Your primary objective will be lead all transactional activities related to procurement from RFQ’s, Supplier Onboarding, Contract Implementation, Supply Chain Planning, Suppliers performance management. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead RFI, RFP processes as required and procurement activities of selected categories related to Electrification (Solar, Battery Storage, EV’s, Charging and Engineering Services among)
• Conduct due diligence of new suppliers be responsible engaging with relevant departments to obtain approvals for system setup. 
• NDA signatures, new supplier listing and delisting.
• Contract implementation and Contract Lifecycle Management.
• Supplier performance management. 
• Ensuring projects are delivered on-time and on-budget. 
• Daily tracking of open Purchase Orders and delivery dates.
• Expediting or rescheduling orders as required to maintain alignment with project delivery.
• Close collaboration with accounts payable to resolve invoice queries.
• Responsible for ensuring internal Procurement processes and procedures are followed and continue to be updated/optimized in line with VEV requirements. 

Experience and qualifications required

• Bachelor's degree in a Technical field is a plus.
• 2 years of Procurement experience desirable.
• Experience on drafting and conducting RFI, RFP processes, quotation evaluations and supplier selection. 
• Experience on contract management for goods and services (exposure to Solar, BESS, EV Charging and EV's will be an advantage). 
• Strong project management and execution skills. 
• Continuous improvement mindset and proven record of process implementation. 
• Ability to deliver quality work with minimal supervision in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience in a rapid growth environment and an ability to adapt to new environments and technologies is an advantage. 
• Excellent communication skills.
